Welcome to our Family & Community Ministry. Our heart is to help you engage in community where there are opportunities for people to grow in their understanding and ability to be more like Jesus through smaller gatherings that provide support, wisdom, education and care as we follow Jesus together.
We seek to aid families and individuals in the journey of navigating life’s up’s and down’s from a biblical perspective. This can happen through individual or group counseling while connecting you to a smaller community where engagement, practice, process and mission take place. We believe in wholistic healing and growth where Jesus is our cornerstone.
We care about couples fostering strong marriages and strong families. We offer premarital, marriage enrichment and marriage restoration counseling for couples seeking guidance in their relationship. Contact Dave Emigh for more information.
We want to help families be as strong as they can be. We recognize everyone’s family is unique and there is no “perfect” type of family. As a body of believers, we commit to partnering with parents as they seek to raise their children to know Jesus through Parent-Child Dedications, baptisms and various family classes. See the calendar for upcoming classes and events.
We are a “Swiss army knife” type of ministry. We provide individual, marital and family counseling. We seek to walk alongside you and pray with you. We help facilitate celebration of life services, visitations and benevolence needs. If you’d like more information on the types of services we have, contact Dave Emigh.
This volunteer group helps those in our community with tangible needs–from bringing a meal to a family in a difficult situation to taking someone to/from a doctor’s appointment or running an errand for someone who can’t leave the house–every single act of service is a huge blessing. Interested in serving or would you like help from the TLC team? Contact Della Zwick.
The Shepherd Team at Red Mountain is a care and discipleship ministry. Shepherds help people in our church community through one-on-one relationships during all seasons of life. Shepherds are not counselors, but they do seek to walk alongside those in our community who are facing hardships. They are objective third parties that are there to listen, offer wisdom, provide encouragement and/or discipleship. Above all else, they are there to help strengthen your relationship with the Lord. Regardless of what circumstances you are facing, the Shepherd Team is here for you. They have life wisdom for how to live well in various situations and yearn to walk with you through whatever you are going through. Contact Della Zwick or Marty Travis to get connected with a Shepherd Team member.
A prayer team prays for each of the prayer requests that come in. We want to partner with you in prayer and support you through whatever you are going through.
It is important to us at Red Mountain to care for the sick and hurting in our community. One way we do that is through our prayer shawl ministry. If you love to knit or crochet (or would like to learn) we would love for you to join us as we meet in homes and enjoy fellowship through serving together.
Supplies will be provided for you. You will receive an email each month with the specific location of each meeting. If you would like to join us, please email Kathleen Cochran or call 480-985-1134.
