There are a ton of ways to grow in your faith at Red Mountain and further your relationship with Jesus and with other believers. Below you can learn more about next steps.
Believe in Jesus
Are you ready to place your trust in Jesus and start your faith journey? Even though Jesus was with God “in the beginning” and was himself God (John 1:1), he came to our world “that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). You are invited to believe that Jesus is truly Lord over all and that he died on the cross to pay your debt and reconcile you to God. You can tell Jesus right now wherever you are that you believe and trust in him alone for your salvation and your new life with him can begin! Let us know you made this decision or reach out with more questions at ([email protected]).
Meet the Pastor
Get to know Lead Pastor Kyle and his wife, Sarah. Meet the Pastor is a great time to ask questions and learn more about the history and vision of Red Mountain in a small group setting. Meet the Pastor happens throughout the year, check our calendar for the next schedule Meet the Pastor.
Church Membership
If you are ready to make Red Mountain your church home, we invite you to attend one of our membership classes in either the fall or spring. This will give you the chance to dive into the history of Red Mountain, what we believe, and where we are headed as a church. After the class, one of our elders will meet with you and get to know you. Then, you will be affirmed at one of our members’ meetings. Take this step to go deeper into the community life of Red Mountain and take a more active part in what God is doing here.
Baptism
Being baptized is a great next step for those who have placed their faith in Jesus. Through a symbolic act of being submerged underwater and coming back up (just as Christ was buried and then rose again), baptism is a public declaration of faith. Opportunities to be baptized on a Sunday morning happen about twice a year (usually once in the fall and once in the spring). A baptism orientation class is offered in the weeks prior to Baptism Sundays.
Parent Child Dedication
We recognize children as gifts from God. Parent Child Dedications are special times set aside to celebrate the gift of children and the promise of parents to raise their children in the training and instruction of the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Psalm 78:4). As a church body, we commit to journeying with families toward this end. Parent Child Dedications take place in the fall and on Mother’s Day.
