Hoodwinked - ten myths moms believe & why we all need to knock it off by Karen Ehman and Ruth Schwenk [ $13 ]
August 15-September 26, 2017

Led by Hallie Carl
Many of today’s wives and mothers have been convinced that serving their family is a subservient and old-fashioned role. Because of culture, family, friends, or lack of biblical teaching, many moms miss how valuable and powerful their calling really is. Some have bought into the pressure to be “Supermom,” while others have believed the myth that they can “do it all” and do it perfectly.

This 6-week study will encourage and inspire us to embrace our roles as mothers wholeheartedly yet realistically, whether we work outside the home, have a home business, or are stay-at-home moms. We will find a fresh new vision for an age-old calling as we tackle the challenges and embrace the blessings of motherhood.

He also shares his concerns on big picture issues for the early church, describes believers’ true identity in Christ, and ultimately helps us discover what it meant to experience the Living Hope we have in Christ, pointing us to humility and submission.

Please join us for this 9-week in-depth study of 1 Peter as we walk through and interpret the Scriptures together.
