Pastor Ramon Valenzuela
Pastor Valenzuela is responsible for the ministry of three churches in the northern provence of Sonora, Mexico. Specifically, Pastor Valenzuela oversees the ministry in Vera Cruz and Chiapas. These three churches minister to some of the poorest people in Mexico. The churches provide ongoing support of their congregations’ spiritual and physical needs. Some people receive medical care and part time employment through the ministry of the church. In the main church they have just completed a building that will be used as a sewing shop during the cool parts of the day for no air conditioning is available.
Red Mountain Community Church has been an ongoing partner with Pastor Ramon since 1996. RMCC has supported Ramon in several different building and improvement projects through the years. Every Christmas members of RMCC bless the children of Ramon’s churches with presents. Deserving children’s names are placed on Christmas trees at RMCC and people pick a name of a child, buy a present, and the presents are eventually delivered to the children.
