Hello All Women Hikers
We are excited to have four hikes planned for our Spring Season.

• Our First Hike is Friday, January 15. We will hike Siphon Draw in the Superstitions. This is a more difficult hike. In the interest of time it will not include the Flat Iron. We will leave at 8:15a and return around 12:30p.
• Our Second Hike is Friday, January 29. We will start at First Water at Lost Dutchman and hike up and over the Superstitions ending at Canyon Lake. This 7.2 mile hike will be more difficult, but so worth it. Because we are dropped off at one point and picked up at another, we are currently limited to 11 hikers. We will end our hike with lunch at the Canyon Lake Marina. Please contact me right away if your husband likes to fish and would also be willing to drive. We will leave at 7:30a and return around 2:30p.
• Our Third Hike is Friday, February 5. So many have requested that we return to Butcher Jones Trail on Saguaro Lake. This is a trail for anyone with beautiful views of the lake, Four Peaks and much more. We will end this hike with an option of lunch at the Marina. We will leave at 8:15a and return around 12:30p.

• Our Fourth Hike is Friday, February 26. A longer day, but a trail for anyone. We will travel to South Mountain to Holbert Trail with various opportunities to see petroglyphs and blooming flowers. We will end with lunch at the local cafe. We will leave at 8:15a and return around 12:30p.
• Our Fifth Hike is Friday, March 5. Traveling again to Phoenix to Camelback Mountain. We will have two groups of hikers this day. One being led on the very difficult trail of Echo Canyon. The second group will hike Cholla Trail, still considered difficult, but not as difficult as the first one. Timed right, we might all meet at the summit. We will leave at 8:15a and return around 12:30p.
• Our Sixth Hike is Thursday, March 25. The exact route has not yet been determined, but we will follow a longer but moderate trail that takes us on views of Miners Needle and other formations in the Superstitions. We will leave at 7:30a and return around 2:00p.
