Hi families! I'm Joel Mayward, Director of Junior High Ministries at RMCC. I'm passionate about following Jesus Christ and inviting students to do the same.

WHO WE ARE
We are a community of young people in the East Valley eager to know Jesus and the truth He reveals. Even though we're in the seventh through ninth grade, we want to be intentional about following Jesus with our entire lives. By giving ourselves to Jesus' mission, we're experiencing grace, redemption, and hope. The adult leaders intentionally strive to partner with parents in guiding students on their spiritual journey. We're the emerging generation at Red Mountain Community Church and we're trying to follow Jesus well.

WHAT WE DO
Wednesday Nights @ The Well: Two thousand years ago, a well was a place where the community gathered for fellowship and refreshment. In John 4, Jesus spoke words of grace and truth to a marginalized woman at a well, offering her eternal life. We seek to be a modern-day well, a place where young people can be lovingly accepted and the spiritually thirsty find renewal. We hang out, worship Jesus, and learn more about God and ourselves from the truths of Scripture.

Sunday Morning D-Groups: We think that spiritual growth is done best in the context of community. While there's a place for the greater body, these smaller groups of students are for sharing life and together growing closer to Jesus. We're convinced that the Bible is the best guide we have for understanding the truth of Jesus, so we dive deep into Scripture and have conversations about life and faith.

Special Events: Throughout the year, we do all sorts of awesome activities and events together. From summer camp to dodgeball tournaments to Mexico mission trips to pool parties, everything we do centers around the mission of Jesus—love God and love people.
