"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." — Hebrews 13:16
A community helps each other through many seasons. You can help others in our community this holiday season by going above and beyond your regular giving. We ask that you pray and let the Holy Spirit guide you and your family.
Gobble Gobble – we're collecting frozen turkeys for families in need this thanksgiving. Grab a frozen turkey and bring with you to church on Sunday November 12 and/or November 19.
Non-Perishable Food Needs
Red Mountain is making it easy to drop off non-perishable food for the United Food Bank. From November 12 - January 31 we will have several United Food Bank boxes set up on campus for you to drop your non-perishable food items into. If each family brought just one item each Sunday we could feed countless families in need in our community. These are the most needed non-perishable foods:
- Peanut Butter
- Canned Meat
- Canned Fruits & Vegetables
- Cereal-Whole Grain, Low Sugar
- Soup, Stews, Chili, Beans
- Rice and Pasta
We will be collecting an offering for our benevolence fund on Christmas Eve. This fund aids Red Mountain in having the ability to serve our community as needed. Be in prayer about how you may contribute.
Young Lives Gifts
Help a Young Lives teen mom out and grab a tag from the tree on Sunday, November 19 and 26. You can bless their family by providing needed gifts for them this Christmas season. Tags will be available for pick-up on the patio and usually go fast, so make sure you get one if this is a way you feel led to give. Gifts are due back on December 3.
Buy a gift for a child in Mexico and help to make their Christmas awesome. If this is something you are interested in, grab a tag off of the tree on the patio Sunday November 19 or 26, shop for their requested items and then return the gifts by December 3.
