"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." — Hebrews 13:16
As the holiday season approaches, we have some unique opportunities to be people of mission and "give generously to others in need" (Ephesians 4:28). Together we are devoting ourselves to the following five opportunities to meet the needs of those around us and communicate that Yahweh sees and cares.
United Food Bank Money for Meals: Please consider bringing a check made out to United Food Bank to the table on the patio November 11 and 18. United Food Bank will use the donations to provide full Thanksgiving meals for families in need.
United Food Bank Non-Perishables: Collections boxes will be around campus from December 1 thru 31 for dropping off non-expired canned and boxed items.
Young Lives: Buy a gift for a teen mom or her baby. Pick a tag on the patio November 18 & 25; brings gifts by December 2.
Mexico Kids: Buy a gift for a child in Mexico. Pick a tag on the patio November 17 & 25; bring gifts by December 2.
Benevolence: We will be collecting an offering for our benevolence fund on Christmas Eve. This fund aids Red Mountain in having the ability to serve our community as needed. Be in prayer about how you may contribute.
