Anne Laine
Anne is preparing to serve with WorldVenture in Uganda discipling women-at-risk.
Anne hopes to help women who have been deeply wounded through different forms of abuse regain a sense of who they are in Christ. She desires to help women better understand their identity in Christ and not just believe what their culture says about them.
Anne plans to help women grow in their identity and relationship with Christ through Bible studies, support groups and discipleship. She also hopes to equip these recovering women to help other women through encouragement and training. "I am so excited to continue to see the healing work of God's truth in women in Uganda," she adds. Anne also hopes to utilize her contacts in the US to facilitate workshops for churches on the effects of different kinds of abuse and its recovery.
Pray that Anne will continue to pursue and trust the Lord's leading in this part of the journey as God continues to prepare her spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally for the tasks He has planned for her.
